Get ready for a fun and electrifying night of live music, high-energy performances, and unforgettable moments at Unity Sachse’s Music for the Heart and Soul Benefit Concert. This one-of-a-kind concert will bring together some of the biggest names in the DFW area music industry, along with rising stars, for a memorable evening shared with down-to-earth, fun, music-loving folks.
Featuring:
-Marc Toussaint – proven commodity with over thirty years of experience singing, recording and performing music from “The Great American Songbook.” There are no doubts about his talent, his professionalism or his extensive repertoire. -Clarence Johnson III –with a wide influence from the deeply rooted rhythms and tribal chants of Congo Square and the Mardi Gras Indians, to the historical traditional jazz, brass band, R&B, and Funk cultures of his hometown of New Orleans, presents a uniquely original voice that is full of both intensity and passion.
-Stefan Karlsson – pianist/composer/educator stays very active as guest performer and Artist-in-Residence at concert venues, festivals, clubs, and universities worldwide. He has been a performer and educator internationally. His discography includes 78 recordings, with nine CD projects under his own leadership.
-Neil Mowles – a multifaceted artist and educator, dedicating his life to singing, acting, and church music. He has performed in theaters throughout the DFW Metroplex and around the country.
-Kim Andrews – sings with a richness of feeling and from the heart songs of spirit and hope. She has shared her love for musical expression in choral groups for more than 20 years. An experienced background singer, she currently sings on a regular basis at Unity Spiritual Center where she serves as Spiritual Leader.
